In the month of May, I took part in the Medieval-a-Thon hosted by the lovely Holly Hearts Books over on youtube. I was happily surprised to actually hit my main goal and became and Princess. So with without further ado here’s what I read in May

I love Hadrian and Royce. And I know that the Riyria Chronicles is not a masterpiece of epic fantasy but I don’t care. I have an amazing time reading about their adventures and this is what matters! I hope to pick the last book in the Riyria Chronicles in June and then move to The Riyria Revelation.
We Ride the Storm by Devin Madson

I was pleasantly surprised by this one! Devin Madson does an amazing job in writing dark and violent scenes without overdoing it just for the gore and shocking her readers. There were also a lot of twists and turn that you don’t see coming that keep me guessing on the direction of the story. I can’t wait for the next book to see where all this is going.
Blade’s Edge by Virginia McClain
