Spring Book Haul

For the last 3 months, I hauled way more book that I was expecting! That’s not helping with my TBR pile but oh well… So here are all the books I bought or received.

Physical Copies

  • Rage of Dragons by Evans Winter
I got the ARC from NetGalley and I really liked it so I bought the physical copy.
    My review: here
  • Vanishing Deep by Astrid Scholte
I read the first couple of chapter for a First Impression post and it intrigued me so I decided to give it a shot and bought it when it got released.
  • How to be Champion by Sarah Millican
I love Sarah Millican as a stand-up comedian so when I realised she had published an autobiography I had to have it.
  • The Crimson Campaign by Brian McClellan
Read the first book in the series and I liked it so I’m continuing with the second book
  • The Armored Saint by Myke Cole
A book that was highly praised by one of my Favourite BookTubers (yes again) and it was perfect for Medieval-A-Thon
    My review: here
  • The Queen of Crows by Myke Cole
I like the previous book enough to buy the sequel which is this one.
    My review: here
  • Never Die by Rob J. Hayes
I bought the e-book for my 2019 SPFBO Reading Challenge and I loved it so I bought the physical copy so it can look nice on my shelves.
    My review: here
  • Death of Dulgath by Michael J. Sullivan
I loved the first book in The Riyria Chronicles the second I liked it less but I still want to continue this series so I bought the third one and plan on getting to it very soon.

  • Kalanon’s Rising
I got the e-book for my 2019 SPFBO Reading Challenge
  • Symphony of the Wind
This one was a finalist in the 2018 SPFBO and I’m planning to read those to so I’m slowly building up my TBR…
  • Blood if heirs by Alicia Wanstall-Burke
I got the e-book for my 2019 SPFBO Reading Challenge
  • Red Sister, Holy Sister, King of Thorns, Prince of Thornsby Mark Lawrence.
Although I didn’t like Mark Lawrence’s latest realise The Girl and the Stars I really want to try more of his work. So when I saw those for 99p each well… I couldn’t resist…

  • Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Another book that I saw on one of my favourite BookTuber Video and it sounded so cool that as requested it as soon as I saw it on NetGalley
  • The Doors of Eden by Adrian Tchaikovsky
I’ve tried this author a while ago and I actually DNF the book but I’ve heard so many good things that I want to give it another try. So I requested his next book coming next month.
  • We Ride the Storm by Devin Madson
This was one of the previous SPFBO winners and the author got a publishing deal so again I couldn’t pass the opportunity to get a copy. Also, look at this cover!
  • Shielded by Kaylynn Flanders
This one was sent to me from the author via NetGalley. The story sounds sweet and I also want to help indie authors.

  • The Faithful and the Fallen tetralogy by John Gwynne
I won those in a giveaway hoster but the lovely M. K. Adams please give him a follow on twitter: twitter
  • The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep by H. G. Parry
I won this one in a giveaway hoster by Alex over at Spells and Spaceshipsplease give him a follow as well: twitter

That’s way more book than I anticipated, to be honest. I don’t usually haul that many. My physical TBR is growing and it’s not stressing me at all…

What about you guy? What books did you recently got and are excited to read?
